Not my day today.. or I simply did something wrong...

following setup:
mac mini with 2 external discs

disc 1 is called work_office
disc 2 is called archive

on disc 1 are two folders called "work" and "office"

we are 6 people + 1 virtual owner (the name enterered while setting up the computer for the first time)

2 + the virtual owner have admin rights (group: admins)

4 + the 2 admins + the virtual owner have r/w access to the archive (group: work)

4 + the 2 admin + the virtual owner have r/w access
to the folder "work" on the volume "work_office" (group: work)

a subgroup of the group "work" (only 2 + 2 admins + the virtual owner) have r/w access to the folder "office" on the volume "work_office" (group: office)

or at least that's the idea.

there is no problem with the group access setup for the archive disc, but with the access to the two folders "work" and "office"

the "archive" has the virtual owner as owner and the group "work" as group as intented

the permissions for the "work" folder on the volume "work_office" have the virtual owner as owner and the group "work" as group and rights are set r/w for owner and group but everyone else is set to "none"

and the permissions for the "office" folder on the volume "work_office" have the virtual owner as owner and the group "office" as group and rights are set r/w for owner and group but everyone else is set to "none"

but also the people who do not belong to the subgroup "office" have r/w access to the folder "office" on the "work_office" volume what shouldn't be.

any idea what I did wrong?
